After John graduated from high school and married his current wife, Karen, he enlisted in the Air Force. His career took him to McChord Air Force Base (AFB) in Tacoma Washington, Charleston AFB in Charleston South Carolina, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium, Peterson AFB and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station in Colorado Springs and Keesler AFB in Biloxi Mississippi. Most of his Air Force career was in the computer support field, which led to jobs as a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor and a DoD Civilian positions after he retired, where he spent over 15 years working at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force station and the same amount of time working at Peterson AFB.
In 2018 John and his wife purchased their current home in Teller County and sold their home they had lived in for almost 30 years in the Fountain/Widefield area - on the south end of Colorado Springs. Their broker effortlessly guided them through the processes of purchasing their new home and selling their old home. Over the years John had thought he’d like to try being a Real Estate Broker and with a little encouragement he got his license in 2019. Having a military background, he's already obtained the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation and the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and he looks forward to helping all of his clients with their real estate needs. He especially appreciates the rural community and countryside.
While he's new to the United Country Timberline Realty team, the United Country Timberline team has extensive experience in rural properties and is always ready to assist when needed. Contact him for your rural real estate needs at: 719-440-7787 or JFox.RE.CO@gmail.com.
